Practice

Everyday drills built around your keys. Adaptive focus gives extra attention to the keys where your recorded performance is weakest.

  • Look at the text, not the keyboard.
  • Use the correct finger for every key.
  • Pick word count and feedback style in Settings.

Typing test

Choose a duration and text style, then start typing — the timer begins on your first keystroke. You get WPM, accuracy, errors and more when time is up.

  • Balanced text covers almost every key.
  • Capitals and punctuation are optional toggles.
  • High scores show the all-time best performers.

Multiplayer

Open the Multiplayer tab and TypeNets starts searching straight away. When five typists have joined, a 5-second countdown begins and everyone races on the same passage.

  • Needs an internet connection.
  • Your name is optional.

Letter unlocking

With unlocking on, guided practice focuses on the letters you have unlocked so far. It uses your all-time key statistics and your target speed from Settings, and also needs at least 75% all-time accuracy. After a completed session, one new letter may unlock when your current set meets the requirements.

Turning unlocking off opens the full alphabet — it never erases your saved letter history.

03 Good habits
Accuracy over speed

Speed follows clean, relaxed typing. Slow down whenever errors creep in.

Short and regular

Ten focused minutes a day beats one long weekly session.

Raise the bar slowly

Increase your target speed only once the current pace feels controlled.

Use your weak keys

Statistics highlights the keys that need work — go back and drill them.

05 Questions
Where is my progress saved?

Practice history and preferences are saved in this browser. Clearing site data can erase local-only history, so keep using the same browser to keep your scores and statistics together.

Do I need an account?

No. You can practise, test and race without one. Multiplayer and the leaderboard use Firebase anonymous sign-in behind the scenes; signing in simply lets your profile follow you.

How does the high-score list work?

The Typing test page ranks the all-time best performers. Finish a solo test with solid accuracy and your best result can earn a place under your chosen leaderboard name.

Something looks wrong — what should I try?

Refresh the page once and check your internet connection. Multiplayer and the leaderboard both need a live connection.
